We snipped off all fruit from our juvenile trees earlier this year to allow them to invest into root growth and give them a good start in life. However, we must have overlooked one Kidd’s Orange Red apple, which is now our pride and joy, and the apple of our eye.
We aren’t quite agreed whether we should turn it into a delicious apple pie, cider or just share it with all membership at the annual general meeting. Kidd’s Orange is a delicious eating apple and suitable for all of these.
OK, one apple doesn’t make a lot of cider or pie, but we are pleased nonetheless.
