I know you must be busy preparing for today’s Autumn Orchard Picnic and next Tuesday’s Annual General Meeting!

If you can spare a minute though, you might be interested in a belated report from the scything training on 17-Sept-2017.

Organised by Ealing park ranger Jon Stables with the Friends of Horsenden Hill and under expert tuition by Clive Leeke [his website], everyone enjoyed learning new skills and most of us left wanting more time to work the meadow.

I think it likely that we’ll have more scything action in our orchards in the new year, some several participants were definitely enthused. Actually, everybody was.

Our thanks to everyone who helped to put this together, and of course our thanks to everyone who came to attend the course.
